A Louisiana themed carnival was planned on New York Street for Ellen DeGeneres’ 50th birthday party. Over 675 guests attended, participating in lively games and rides, side show attractions, street performers and main stage activities. A 100’ “Ellen” branded ferris wheel anchored the main street while bumper cars and a carousel attracted guests to other areas. An interior set was customized as a “House of Mirrors” with Ellen sound bites while another was turned into a Pinkberry Parlor. Ryan Seacrest hosted the evening with a live performance by Pink culminating in a Happy Birthday firework display and of course – there was dancing.
