The December premiere of Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino at Warner Bros. Studios was an event where the car was the star. The 1973 Gran Torino was one of the original “muscle cars”, in cherry condition. And one of the featured celebrities on the red carpet. The after party under the Brownstone Street tent was designed as an elegant Carmel Jazz Lounge. Rich chocolate suede couches accented with mirrored tables were the backdrop to the two – tone Gran Torino green ottomans, pillows and chairs. Yes, they were custom made to match the car! A mahogany library bar offered premium spirits while The Martini Kings preformed vintage jazz.
